Custom saved search, custom fields, scripts, and file cabinet folders can be bundled and imported to the Customer's Netsuite instance. The bundle can be updated and modified as per the requirement based on the type of permission provided. This helps to reduce time and effort to recreate the same customized entities which can be used in the NetSuite Integration flows.
Prior to running the Accelerator NetSuite EDI integration flows, the customer NetSuite ERP instance should be configured with customizations. These settings are prerequisites for running Accelerator NetSuite EDI integration flows.
Steps to Create SuiteBundle
- Go to the Customization tab in the NetSuite UI to Create a Bundle, as shown here.
- This takes you to the Bundle builder where Name and Version are entered to name the bundle.
- Clicking Next takes you to the Bundle Properties step.
- Click Next to go to the Select Objects page, which allows you to select different custom entities, as shown here.
- After selecting the custom fields, scripts, or file cabinet folder, the control goes to the next page which gives preferences for selecting customizations.
- Click Save to create this Suite Bundle. It can be listed in the created bundles in NetSuite. To give permission to the customer's Account id, you must click the Set Availability option, shown here.
The Bundle Availability will allow the user to set the preference level to Private, Shared, or Public. The user must provide the account id in the “Shared Account Ids” box where the bundle needs to be installed.
