The primary purpose of On-Time Shipment In Retailer Relationship Manager is to enable the receiving party to prepare for and validate the delivery. This ensures that the shipment arrives as expected and allows the recipient to confirm that the delivery meets their requirements. ERM helps you track whether Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN, 856) are sent before or upon shipment to the customer. Typically, the Expected Ship Time from the ASN is used to evaluate the SLA. If no such information exists in the ASN, the fallback timeframe parameter values specified in CIC are used.
