ACTION REQUIRED: Windows Cumulative and Security Update Issues for Cleo Streem Users

Dear Cleo Customer, 

Cleo Streem has identified that recent Windows Cumulative and Security updates, which address a printing vulnerability, cause file conversion issues on both Cleo Streem servers and Cleo Streem Print clients. Some examples of the issues we are seeing include blank pages in the fax that is sent, PDF conversion failures, and RTF conversion failures. Microsoft has acknowledged this as an issue, and has said they are working on a resolution and estimate a solution will be available in the coming week. 

Until further notice, depending on the platform, the following updates should not be installed to your Streem servers or Streem Print PCs.  If they have already been applied and you are seeing issues similar to those mentioned above, all applied updates from the list below should be uninstalled immediately:

• KB5000848

• KB5000853
