The SAP S/4HANA Cloud Connector supports ODATA V2, ODATA V4, and Synchronous SOAP services only. The steps below describe how to create the Connector Project.
- Select the newly created vault entry (described in Authentication Information) and click Next to proceed.
- Select the services for which you want to create the Connector.
Once the ODATA V2 and ODATA V4 services are displayed under the respective expand bar, the services need to be selected based on your specific requirements. The search tab can be used to filter the services for selection.
However, to add the SOAP services, import the WSDL file for the respective SOAP synchronous service. The WSDL file can be downloaded from the relevant Communication Arrangement.
Note: As the number of selected services increases, the time taken to build the project also increases.
- Review the services selected to create the connector. The selected services can also be removed from here as well.
- Provide a suitable project name and click Finish to complete.
Once the process is completed, the Connector Projects are created in the Project Explorer, as shown below. Each package contains resource-specific Business Processes (to call the operation), and Schemas (to build Rulesets). Each Business Process has a corresponding request and response JSON schema for OData services and XML schema for SOAP synchronous services that can be used as part of the data transformation.
You can then incorporate these resources into your overall integration solution with the SAP S/4HANA Cloud application based on another integrated system.
