Getting Started
The PAVE Portal provides working areas to manage different aspects of your ordering lifecycle. These areas are shown on the left side of your portal. Note that some areas display for vendors only, while others display for both vendor and buyer. This is based on sign-in credentials. The information that follows is mainly from the vendor's perspective.
These areas include:
- Dashboard
- Message Hub
- Sales Orders
- Shipments
- Invoices
This represents a full order management system, which allows the vendor to see incoming orders, accept, reject, or edit details of the orders, manage shipment details, and ultimately generate the invoice for the order.
Using the Dashboard
The following feature is available in the Dashboard.
Transaction Report
Users can access a Transaction Report that helps track the number of transactions in a month, quarter, year or in the provided date range.
To generate a transaction report, users need to:
- Select a sub-tenant account (if applicable). If you do not have sub-tenant accounts, then your organization name will be pre-populated.
- Select your Trading Partner from the available drop-down menu.
- Select the period to run the transaction report. Several options (Month, Data Range, etc.) are available.
Click Generate to view the report online. You can also select the Excel icon to generate the report as a csv file. Users also can directly export the Transaction Report by Clicking on the Excel Icon provided in the Transaction Report pop-up.
Message Hub
See the following for information and guidance on using the Message Hub. Learn how to navigate to the Inbox/Outbox/Exceptions tabs, view and filter documents, access document details, download data, and set notifications. Use this as a comprehensive resource for effectively managing document transactions. See Message Hub for more information.
Sales Orders
This area shows all available sales orders in your system, including their current status. Three main sections display when a specific sales order is selected:
- Lifecycle (different statuses)
- Header-level information (PO#, Ship To details, Shipment details, etc)
- Line-level details (GTIN, Qty, Order Price, etc)

Invoices
Invoices can be viewed, generated, and tracked.

Technical Requirements
To access CIC PAVE, you will need access to the Internet and a browser. Browsers supported include IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Login
Visit https://spiceinsight.io/ to log in to the PAVE Portal. Enter the username and password credentials as provided at registration.
My Profile
Use this section to personalize your PAVE Portal.
- After login, click on the User icon on the top right section of the screen.
- Select My Profile from the dropdown.
- Provide all relevant user details. These include User Photo, User Email, User Name, Display Name, LinkedIn URL, Address Line, Country, State, City, Post Code, Contact Phone, Time Zone, Time Format, and Success or Failure. Important: enabling these last settings manage notifications for successful or failed transactions.
- Select Update to create the profile.
