Clarify v6 System Requirements

The following are the minimum system requirements for the Clarify Server and Studio. Some requirements may differ depending on the specific needs of your business.

Clarify Server

Processor 64-bit Intel / AMD dual-core processor. For optimum performance, Cleo recommends a dedicated execution environment.
RAM 32 GB or greater.
Operating System

Windows
(Enterprise)

  • Windows Server 2025 (Recommended)
  • Windows Server 2022 Server 

(Non-Enterprise)

  • Windows 11 (Recommended)
  • Windows 10

Linux

(Enterprise)

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux v9 (Recommended)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux v8

(Non-Enterprise)

  • Rocky Linux v9
  • Rocky Linux v8

MAC

  • Not Supported

Server Cluster: When configuring multiple machines as part of the Server Cluster, these machines can be:

  • Windows Server or Linux (partial distribution)
  • Dedicated or Virtual Machine
  • On-Premise or Hosted

However, all machines used in multiple machine topologies are required to use the same operating system and version.

Note: Change memory allocation after installation

To change the memory allocation after your initial setup:

  1. Go to your Server's installation directory.
  2. Open the EbiServer_Standard.ini configuration file.
  3. Find the line that looks like this:  Xms1024m - Xmx2048m
     
  • Xms defines the minimum memory the Clarify Server will use.
  • Xmx defines the maximum memory it can use.
     
  1. To increase the memory allocation, update the Xmx value to your desired amount in megabytes (MB).
    For example, to allocate 4 GB of memory, change it to: Xmx4096m

Cleo Product Compatibility

These current compatibility levels exist between Clarify and other Cleo products.

Cleo Dashboards 

  • v3.4.0 is required for full compatibility with the Clarify server. It will work with older server versions.
  • Clarify includes a keystore utility to update the Cleo Dashboard truststore with the certificate required for Clarify compatibility.

Cleo Harmony or Cleo VLTrader

  • Recommended: v5.8.1.2
  • Minimum: v5.8.1

Cleo VLProxy

 Recommended: v3.8
