There are two methods for packing an ASN: Pick and Pack or Auto-Pack. This guide explains both options.
Pick and Pack Method
- Select an order from your Inbox and open it.
- Click Respond from the dropdown menu in the top-left corner.
- Select Advance Shipment Notice (856).
- In the ASN Packing Wizard, choose Pick and Pack.
- Enter the number of cartons in the shipment and click Next. If shipping with pallets, you’ll also be prompted to enter the number of pallets and cartons.
-
Use the packing wizard to drag and drop items from the left panel into the appropriate cartons and/or pallets.
- Once all items are packed, click Finished in the top-right corner. The ASN form will open.
- Complete all required fields (highlighted in blue).
- Click Save, then Send to submit the ASN to your trading partner.
Auto-Pack Method
Note: A catalog must be set up for the trading partner before using Auto-Pack. Refer to the article Creating a Catalog for setup instructions.
