Starting a Web Service Provider object

A Web Service Provider object must be activated in order to make a service available. These steps assume that the object has been successfully deployed to a Server. 

  1. Go to the Admin Console | Resource Monitors.
  2. From the Resource Monitor Types section, click Web Service Provider.
  3. In the Resource Monitors section, click the Provider object to be started.
    Note: In this example of a Web Service Provider (SOAP/WSDL) object, note how the Properties view lists the Internal Providers List Location, Internal Provider WSDL Location, External Providers List Location, and External Provider WSDL Location.
  4. Click the Start button.
The Web Service Provider is active. The service can now receive requests from a consumer.
