What's New in this Release: June 19, 2021

The following enhancements and fixes are included in this release. 

CIC Cockpit Enhancements

This release contains general enhancements and improvements, including infrastructure updates put in place to support future capabilities and development.

Certificate Expiration Notifications

CIC now supports email notifications when certificates have expired or are about to expire. Users can subscribe to notifications from their My Profile page. Once configured, CIC sends notifications to the email account associated with the user. See Enabling Notifications.

Note: By default, notification for expired certs is set to ON and notification for certs about to expire is set to OFF.

Trading Partner UI Enhancements

The Trading Partner UI has been enhanced to allow access to data for a single partner directly from the Network > Partner page. Drilling into a single partner's data allows you to view Activity Dashboard charts focused on the selected Partner and to update the Partner's profile. See Working with your list of Partners.

In addition, you can now delete Trading Partners directly from the Trading Partner list page. When you do so, the deleted Trading Partner's data is still accounted for in aggregate data and is displayed but greyed-out in the Messages pages. 

Azure Blob Connector

CIC now supports Azure Blob as a source or destination Endpoint for ecosystem integrations. Like other Endpoint types, Azure Blob Endpoints are defined within CIC while the actual data source resides outside of CIC. For reference information about Azure Blob Endpoints, see Azure Blob Endpoint.

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed an issue where some messages and raw data were not visible in CIC Cockpit.
  • Fixed an issue where FAs were being incorrectly attached to messages and accepted.
  • Fixed an issue where using disabled endpoints and data flows would result in an attempt to create a Zendesk ticket.
  • Fixed an issue where some jobs would get stuck in "in progress" status.
  • Fixed an issue where using an invalid macro in custom data flow commands would cause jobs to be stuck in progress.
  • Fixed an issue where some systems configured for CIC ticketing were fetching data from Zendesk.

CIC Studio/Engine Enhancements

This release contains general enhancements and improvements, including infrastructure updates put in place to support future capabilities and development.

Note: For those updating to this current version, it is recommended to update the B2Biaas Project, which is part of the CIC Cockpit Projects (CCP). These are Projects that allow for certain data to display in the Cockpit.    

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed an issue where double-byte characters were not being tracked properly for position tracking in a cache.

CIC Agent Enhancements

The current release is 1.0.11. This release contains general enhancements and improvements, including infrastructure updates put in place to support future capabilities and development.

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed a Customer Database connectivity issue.
