    Hi Connor -

The answer to how big a shift this would be to manage yourself depends on the approach that is taken to the migration (complete self-integration vs full PS support or somewhere in between).  Below are the key components of these types of migrations and where the PS team can help reduce your effort expenditure, allowing you to focus on the core focus of an ERP migration:

    • Data Movement migrations  (AS2/SFTP) - when moving to the cloud, you will want to update the endpoints your partners connect to, to fully support all CIC functionality.  This is effort that can easily be managed by the PS team.

    •  Data / process cleanup - When moving to a new ERP, you don't want to just migrate the same issues and challenges from your current environment to a new one. A prime focus of the IT/business teams working on the migration should be around the ERP implementation and focusing on improving the challenges faced with current ERP/environment. Allowing Cleo PS to focus on the mapping migration activities, allows you to focus on the priority of ERP configuration and migration.
    • The actual mapping effort is very similar to what you are doing on prem today - you will be re-building those maps to support the new ERP expected file structure.  Total effort depends on how many document types you are trading with each partner - the effort to build, test, migrate a partner trading 3 documents is much smaller than a partner trading 8 document types. Again, Cleo PS could own the bulk of the "heavy lifting" here and allow your team to focus on validation testing, business process changes and becoming proficient in the new ERP.
    • End to end testing support - if self managing, you will likely want to do a full end to end test cycle with each trading partner.  By engaging PS we have other approaches/tools we can setup that limit the TP interaction required, minimizing impact to your TP's, as well as keeping overall project timelines within your control.
