These release notes describe new features, update recommendations, known issues, and other information related to the current Cleo Dashboards release.
Important: Cleo Dashboards v3.4.0 requires a fresh installation. There is no update path from previous versions. Previous versions should be uninstalled. Before you do however, please take note of the following resources in your existing dashboard, which you'll need to recreate manually in the new Dashboard version. These are:
- Data Sources
- Schedules
- Self Service reports

What’s new in this current release
The following information summarizes enhancements, changes, and fixes to this current version of the Cleo Dashboards.
- Tomcat Upgrade: The server software, Tomcat, has been upgraded to version 9.0.78. This update brings performance improvements and bug fixes.
- Security Enhancements: Several security vulnerabilities have been addressed. Additionally, log4j has been upgraded to version 2.17.0, further strengthening security measures.
- Improved User Experience: Enhancements have been made to the user interface of the dashboard, providing a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.
- Enhanced Raw Data View: Message reports now offer the ability to view both pre- and post-transformation raw data. This provides greater flexibility for data analysis.
Compatible Cleo Products
Cleo Dashboards v3.4.0 supports reporting functionality to the following products:
- Cleo Clarify v5 (v5.1.19 or higher required for use with Server Cluster)
- Cleo Harmony v5.7.0.2 or higher
- Integrated Harmony and Clarify (CIS)
Known Issues and Limitations
- For both Windows & Linux installers during installation, the installer prompts the user to overwrite three files listed below. Please select the Yes to All button to overwrite the files.

Dashboard as a service feature does not work on Windows servers. To start the dashboard, run the
startup.bat
found in /tomcat/bin directory. - Upgrade installers are no longer supported. Please uninstall the existing dashboard and install the newer version. See the note above about resources that must be re-created.
