The Partner Activity page is designed to give you a high-level overview of your trading partner community by displaying an activity summary for each of your partners in either a tile view or a list view.
Go to Activity > Partners. This page displays partner information (see Partner Information) as a list or as tiles.
Note: List and Tile views and Filtering and Sorting functionality require the latest release of CIC as of March 20, 2024.
List View
In List view, information about one partner is displayed in each line. See Partner Information. To view partner information in List view, click the List view icon.
Click a partner name to display message activity information for only that partner. The charts available on this page are the same as those available on the Dashboard page. See Working with the Dashboard.
Tile View
In the Tile view, information about partners is displayed in tiles across the page. Each tile contains information about a single partner. See Partner Information. To view messages in Tile view, click the Tile view icon.
Click the partner name on a tile to display message activity information for only that partner. The charts available on this page are the same as those on the Dashboard page. See Working with the Dashboard.
Partner Information
For each partner, the list displays the following:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Partner name and ID |
Name and ID used to identify the partner throughout the CIC Cockpit. The rest of the data in this line or tile pertains to this partner. |
Volume and Change |
Volume is the number of messages associated with the partner. If Message Volume is displayed at the top of the page, this value represents the volume for all document types. If there is a single document type displayed at the top of the page, this value represents only messages for the selected document type. See Message Type. Change is the difference in volume over the period selected in the upper right portion of the page. For example, if the period selected is "This Week", and there were 8 messages last week and 10 messages this week, the Change is displayed as "+20%" in green characters. This allows you to quickly see which of your partners have the highest volume as well as to detect any trends that are starting to emerge in terms of change in volume. Notes:

For example, if the period selected is "This Week", and there were 8 Issues last week and 10 this week, the Change is displayed as "+20%" in green characters. This allows you to quickly see which of your partners has the most issues, as well as to detect any trends that are starting to emerge in terms of change in issues. Notes:

For instance, you could choose to show the number of Orders or Load Tenders for each partner over the selected period. The default is to show the total message volume for each partner.
Sorting and Filtering the Partner Page
Use the Sort by menu to select a criterion and Sort direction button to sort the list.
You can filter the Activity > Partner page to display only a subset of partners. When you apply filters, they are displayed as chips at the top of the partner list.
Use the Partners text box on the left side of the page.
Click in the Partners text box and type. As you type, matching partner names are displayed as a list you can choose from.
Alternatively, click the browse link to display a dialog box from which you can choose.
