Transformation Endpoint

A Transformation Endpoint allows the CIC Integration Engine to act as a source or destination for data transfer. Data received by a Transformation Endpoint is processed by the Integration Engine. When processing is complete, the Integration Engine sends the processed data to another Endpoint via a Transformation Endpoint.  

You add Transformation Endpoints to Data Flows like you would any other Endpoint, except that you do not need to specify values for any additional attributes, properties, or parameters - with one exception: the Event object. By specifying which Event will be called (and its corresponding Business Process), you set how data will be brought to or from the CIC Integration Engine as part of data transformation using your Data Flow created in the CIC Cockpit.

The Transformation Endpoint itself handles processing and routing based on the content of the file being transferred and Integration Engine configuration.
