Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) enables organizations to extend visibility of Supplier Scorecard performance directly to their suppliers (Partner Users). Once configured, suppliers can securely access CIC to monitor their transactions and receive notifications for SLA-based scorecard metrics.
By enabling SLA notifications, suppliers gain early visibility into potential performance risks—allowing them to take corrective action before targets are missed.
Prerequisites
Before enabling supplier access and notifications, ensure the following:
- Supplier Scorecards are enabled
- Scorecard metrics have been configured for the supplier
- A supplier contact (email address) is identified for CIC access and notifications
Procedure
Step 1: Create a Partner User in CIC
- Navigate to the Partner User management area in CIC
- Select Create New User
- Enter the supplier’s contact information
- Save the user
An invitation email is automatically sent to the supplier.
Step 2: Supplier Activates Their CIC Account
The supplier must complete the following:
- Open the invitation email
- Follow the activation link
- Complete the account setup process
- Sign in to CIC
Step 3: Enable Supplier Scorecard Notifications
After logging in, the supplier should configure their notification preferences:
- Go to My Profile (top-right corner)
- Select Notifications
- Locate the Ecosystem Relationship Management (ERM) section
- Enable the appropriate notification types:
- SLA Warnings
- SLA Missed
How SLA Notifications Work
When enabled, these notifications alert suppliers about performance thresholds defined in their Supplier Scorecard metrics.
- SLA Warnings notify suppliers when a deadline is approaching
- SLA Missed alerts indicate that a required action was not completed within the defined timeframe
These alerts help suppliers identify at-risk transactions and take action to maintain compliance.
Example Use Case
A common scorecard metric tracks whether a supplier sends:
- A Purchase Order Acknowledgment (EDI 855)
- An Order Response (ORDRSP)
within a defined timeframe after a purchase order is issued.
With SLA notifications enabled, the supplier is alerted when:
- The acknowledgment deadline is approaching (SLA Warning)
- The acknowledgment deadline has been missed (SLA Missed)
Benefits
Enabling supplier notifications provides:
- Proactive issue resolution through early warning alerts
- Improved supplier compliance with scorecard expectations
- Increased transparency into transaction performance
- Stronger collaboration between your organization and suppliers
